Erik ten Hag, the Manchester United manager, openly addresses Jadon Sancho's transfer from Borussia Dortmund in straightforward remarks.
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag extended his best wishes to Jadon Sancho in a brief statement after the player's loan transfer to Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho, aged 23, made his comeback to the Bundesliga powerhouse on Thursday, rejoining them after a two-and-a-half-year stint with the Red Devils in a £73 million agreement.

The English striker has netted only 12 goals and contributed six assists in 82 matches for Manchester United. Since a public disagreement with Ten Hag in September, he hasn't made any appearances. Despite this, the Man Utd manager offered a brief but positive remark about Sancho during Friday's press conference, expressing, "I hope he's doing well, so I wish him the best of good luck. That's it."
"I trust he is thriving and will achieve success with Borussia Dortmund."
Ten Hag's connection with Sancho deteriorated when he pointed to the winger's "training performances" as the cause for not selecting him during their September trip to Arsenal, leading to a 3-1 defeat.
Sancho responded to his manager through a social media post, asserting that he was unfairly targeted as a "scapegoat."
Subsequently, he was removed from the Man Utd WhatsApp group and forbidden from participating in senior side training or utilizing any of their amenities, including the canteen.
Sancho faced encouragement from both colleagues and teammates to reconsider, yet he remained steadfast.
He has successfully clinched a transfer to Dortmund, revisiting the club where he spent four years, netting 50 goals across 137 matches.
Having trained with his fresh teammates on Thursday, Sancho may mark his second appearance for the German side against Darmstadt on Saturday.
He will don the No10 for the team, citing Ronaldinho as his inspiration for selecting the jersey.
Sancho's contract with Manchester United extends until 2026, and his original club is said to cover £100,000 of his weekly £290,000 salary during his loan period.
As part of the agreement, Dortmund will contribute £3 million to Manchester United, with the potential to increase to £3.4 million based on conditions related to appearances and Champions League qualification.
Dortmund currently occupies the fifth position in the Bundesliga standings, trailing by six points from the top four and a significant 15 points behind Bayer Leverkusen, who leads the league.
