If Manchester United possessed a quality stadium, they would lead the revenue-generating rankings.
After the release of the most recent Deloitte Football Money League, a principal partner at the accounting firm proposed that Sir Jim Ratcliffe emulate Tottenham’s achievements and renovate Old Trafford.

The revenue of The Red Devils rose by £65 million to reach a club-record £648 million for the 2022-23 season. However, they dropped to fifth in the standings, trailing Manchester City's £718.2 million.
Tottenham Hotspur earns £6 million per match at their lavish 62,000-capacity stadium, propelling them to eighth place in the financial rankings. The London-based club surpassed the half-billion-pound mark for the first time, increasing by £106 million to £549.2 million.
Tim Bridge from Deloitte stated, "Manchester United maintains the capacity to produce substantial commercial profits. They continue to generate over £100 million from Old Trafford. I think that if they established a legitimate matchday experience, akin to what Tottenham has, enhancing fan engagement around the stadium, the financial outcomes could be groundbreaking, surpassing their competitors."
In another development, Liverpool slid from third to seventh place as their revenue experienced a slight decline of just £500,000.
Chelsea fell to ninth place despite their value increasing by over £30 million. Meanwhile, Arsenal maintained their tenth position following a substantial boost of nearly £100 million. Real Madrid claimed the top spot on the table, with PSG and Barcelona also securing positions in the top five.
