The 25-year-old is expected to leave the club for Real Madrid on a free transfer. Paris Saint-Germain will need to restructure their team to reduce reliance on the 2018 World Cup winner. The Times reported that Rashford is a target for PSG this summer. The club will have up to £171 million freed up by Mbappe's exit, as his wages will no longer be on the books.

- Manchester United's Marcus Rashford, 26, is reportedly on PSG's list of replacements, with discussions between the clubs already underway.

- Luis Campos, the club's football advisor, sees Rashford as a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappe.

- PSG has shown previous interest in Rashford, and he reportedly negotiated with the club before signing his latest contract with Manchester United, although these talks were possibly used as leverage.

Rashford has found it challenging to reproduce his performance from the previous season this year.

During the 2022/23 season, the striker thrived, scoring 30 goals in 56 games across all competitions.

This season, Rashford has just five goals in 28 matches.

Manchester United player Marcus Rashford faced off-pitch issues when he was found to have been on a 12-hour bender in Belfast. This led to him missing training due to being hungover. As a consequence, Rashford was fined £650,000 (equivalent to two weeks' wages) and was dropped from the squad for one match. However, he later returned to the starting lineup and scored a goal in Manchester United's 4-3 win against Wolves. United has stated that Rashford has taken responsibility for his actions.
