Sancho departed Dortmund in 2021 for a £73 million transfer to the Red Devils, yet has struggled to mirror his previous performance in Manchester.

His return to the yellow and black of Dortmund is showcased in cheerful videos shared by the club on social media. Nevertheless, these joyous clips have irked several Manchester United fans, who are displeased witnessing Sancho donning the Dortmund training kit and passionately kissing the badge shortly after rejoining the club.

Supporters expressed intense displeasure over the situation. This dissatisfaction stemmed from the fact that Sancho was still associated with Old Trafford, and his return was anticipated once his loan concludes in the summer.

A specific fan said:"He never kissed the United badge like this."

While another added: "What a traitor!"

A third wrote: "Kissing the badge on day one… that’s a violation!"

Sancho received a warm welcome from his previous colleagues upon rejoining the club. Additionally, Erling Haaland, a former fellow player, expressed his approval of the decision by sharing a supportive message on social media.

Sancho quickly joined team training, actively participating in the squad's activities.

The skillful winger is expected to travel to Marbella with the team for their mid-season training camp, with a potential debut this weekend.

After rejoining, he brings with him a history of 137 appearances, 50 goals, and an impressive 64 assists.

The Manchester United loanee will proudly wear the number ten jersey, inspired by his idol Ronaldinho for choosing this new shirt number.

The celebrity also appeared to criticize Erik ten Hag in his initial interview with the team, mentioning to Dortmund supporters that he:"can't wait to play football with a smile".

Dortmund is set to compensate United £3 million for the loan, with the potential to increase to £3.4 million based on clauses tied to appearances and Champions League qualification.
