Supporters expressed intense displeasure over the situation. This dissatisfaction stemmed from the fact that Sancho was still associated with Old Trafford, and his return was anticipated once his loan concludes in the summer.
A specific fan said:"He never kissed the United badge like this."
While another added: "What a traitor!"
A third wrote: "Kissing the badge on day one… that’s a violation!"

Sancho's Red Devils agreement extends until 2026, and his original club is said to cover £100,000 of his weekly £290,000 wage during his time in Germany. Dortmund is set to compensate United £3 million for the loan, with the potential to increase to £3.4 million based on clauses tied to appearances and Champions League qualification.
