Elanga was impressive against Man Utd
In the midst of Manchester United's inconsistent performance this season, he exacerbated the situation by assuming the role of a provider, contributing to Nuno Espirito Santo's rejuvenated Forest securing a 2-1 victory.
Yet, it wasn't his pivotal assist for Morgan Gibbs-White that angered Manchester United fans. Instead, it was his behavior after being substituted in the 87th minute. Observant fans noticed the 21-year-old grinning and gesturing towards his club emblem while on the sidelines.
A second said: "Elanga pointing to the Forest badge when he comes off. What a nerd."
A third said: "What’s that nonsense touching of the badge that Elanga is doing?"
Another fumed: "Elanga pointing to the Forest badge what a snake."
While a fifth added: "Elanga flexing that Nottingham badge. Fairs."
The victory in the forest elevates them to the 15th position on the table and puts them five points ahead of the relegation zone.
In the meantime, Manchester United stays in the seventh position, trailing by nine points from the top four.
