Bombshell:Man Utd have decided not to extend his contract.will clubs come for him ? What could be his faith ?

Manchester united have decided not to extend Raphael Varane's contract at the club, and he could negotiate a summer exist in January.

Varane is presently bound to Utd until 2025. The club opted against activating the extension but is open to negotiating fresh terms.

What transpired?

Man United ain't extending his contract

As per the Daily Mail, the Red Devils have opted not to activate a choice to prolong Varane's contract by 12 months, allowing the French defender to explore potential moves with overseas clubs in the upcoming year.

In November, addressing speculations about a potential rift between Varane and Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag, the Dutchman swiftly played down the alleged disagreement.

"I'm not aware of what you're referring to," Ten Hag stated. "It's merely rumors. Varane is a crucial player, but internal competition is expected at a top-tier club, which we are."

The 30-year-old's contract is poised to conclude in the summer, having transferred from Real Madrid for £34 million ($44m) in 2021. Although United has opted not to prolong Varane's tenure under his existing conditions, there are purportedly ongoing discussions about retaining him at a reduced salary.

The report suggests that United finds his current deal, valued at approximately £340,000-per-week, challenging to defend due to his injury issues, which have restricted him to just seven Premier League appearances this season.

What LIES AHEAD FOR VARANE?

Despite a limited role this season, United faces a shortage in the center-back position and will require Varane in the upcoming year, especially with an FA Cup confrontation against Wigan Athletic and a challenging encounter against Tottenham in the league on the horizon.
